The Royal Wave

Nan Johnson 's paintings

attempt to capture moments in time,

where an emotion or feeling was felt

This painting captures Kate's arrival,

her wave,

her train,

and her dutiful sister

keeping that train in perfect condition

Ching Ming

Ching Ming,
or,
Grave-Sweeping Day,
is observed on April 5 this year

Ching Ming rituals include weeding of the area,
cleaning of the headstone,
replacing the wilted flowers with fresh ones,
the lighting of incense
and burning of imitation paper money
Thomas visited the cemetery and took some snapshots
He is surprised to find one photo
with a figure image on it

This photo was taken on 3 March using a phone camera

What do you think ?
